This is not a new journey. It is a 10-year journey finally getting its own home.
A Decade of Lessons
For the last ten years, I have worked behind the scenes in Kenya’s communications landscape – from newsrooms to boardrooms, from SMEs in Nyeri to organizations operating in Nairobi, Laikipia, Marsabit, Eldoret, Kisumu, and Mombasa.
I’ve crafted stories, managed media relations, handled reputation crises at midnight, trained executives to face cameras, and helped organizations translate complex policy into language that moves people.
In those ten years, I saw what works and what fails.
And I kept seeing the same painful gap.
Great organizations doing great work, but with poor storytelling. Businesses with excellent products but zero trust in the market. NGOs with powerful impact but no media presence. Leaders with no clear narrative when a crisis hits.
Many agencies offer execution. Few offer senior-level counsel that truly understands Kenya’s media, policy, and community context.
So I built Summit Edge Communications to close that gap.
